Residential emergency home standby generators are permanently installed outside your home (similar to an air-conditioning unit), supply electrical power to all pre-selected lights and appliances, and are powered by either natural gas or liquid propane. Our available models range from 7,000 - 45,000 watts.

Pan American Power and Guardian Generators teamed up and added a  18kw Generator for the television show This Old House, for their New Orleans Project. Pictured, left to right, are: Dan Giampetroni, with Guardian Generators, Deryl Boudreau, with Pan American Power, and Kevin O’Connor, host of This Old House.

Determining Your Power Requirements?

When discussing the specific needs of our customers, the first question we try to answer is: "How much of your home/business do you want to have online with electrical power during a utility power outage?" This can vary from a "bare bones" system to operate essential lights and heat for your home or office, or a system can be designed to provide "total backup" for all of your power needs. With this information a generator can be sized to fit your standby power needs.
